Hey I'm Aly, Your Coach at
EMPOWERHOUSE

I know how challenging it can be to navigate major transitions or chase ambitious goals—but don’t worry.

I’m here to help. Together, we’ll break through barriers

and move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of agency and purpose.

A LETTER FROM ME TO YOU

Hey there,

If you’ve come to this page, then you’re already curious about coaching, but you’re probably wondering why you should choose me to be your coach. Fair question. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I've always felt a call to be in service of others. When I was in my 20’s, I pursued a degree in conflict resolution and a career in the international nonprofit sector. I believed in building a professional path that was mission-centric and values driven. For over 10 years, I worked with individuals and organizations in more than 50 countries around the world to navigate growth and change processes. I organized and spoke at international conferences, managed multi-national teams, and even co-authored the Resiliency+ Framework for nonprofits going through times of transition. I loved it all.

However, by 2016 I was starting to get really tired and experienced signs of burnout. And then I received a devastating call that changed my life forever and pushed me into a state of chronic stress for several years to follow. My sleep, eating, and movement habits were all off. I became withdrawn and disconnected from others. I started to perceive things and people around me through a negative lens and became very defensive. I even went an entire year without laughing. It was hard. As I look back on that time in my life now, I realize that I was ignoring all of the signs that my body, mind, and others were sending me. I was completely out of balance.

It took some time but with a little bit of grit and a lot of support from loved ones and my own coach, I reclaimed my agency and emerged on the other side stronger than when I entered. Throughout the process, I learned firsthand how crucial it is to tend to our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being as an interconnected unit. Most importantly, I realized my purpose going forward - to accompany others through their moments of transition and growth. Because sometimes we need someone to simply show up and show us that we can and will get through whatever life throws at us. That we are resilient.

That is why in 2022, I decided to harness my experiences and educational background and transition from the nonprofit sector into integrative coaching. I received my Master Coaching Certificate from the Integrative Wellness Academy and now help individuals and teams navigate their own transitions and achieve their goals with a whole-person approach. My role as your coach is to serve as your mirror and sounding board, and offer a blueprint for taking sustainable action as we embark on a journey to challenge assumptions, cultivate deeper self-awareness, and design a realistic and empowering path forward.

If you’re ready to explore how deeper self-awareness can transform your life, I’d love to connect and be part of your journey.

Abrazo enorme,

Aly

P.S.  I think it is important to make time for the things that bring us joy. For me this includes spending time with family and friends, exploring movement in all its forms, reading, cooking, and creating music with my band The Space Between. Originally from New Jersey, I now call Buenos Aires, Argentina home where I share life with my husband and our dog. In addition to coaching,  I am a certified Pilates instructor and have a thriving private practice.  And I try to get to Patagonia as often as possible to hike and reconnect with nature!

Change is not only possible—
it starts the moment you decide to choose you.

AN INTEGRATIVE COACHING APPROACH

Whether you’re setting new goals or navigating a major transition, challenges will inevitably arise (or reoccur) that need to be addressed before moving forward. Rather than bulldozing ahead like many traditional coaching frameworks, as an Integrative Coach I work with you to create space to be curious about these obstacles. By directing our focus to the interconnections among our our four body systems - PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL - an integrative coaching approach opens the door for a recalibration of how each system influences the others. Only then does it become possible to see—and change—patterns that either support or undermine our personal resilience and capacity for growth.

Throughout the course of the coaching program, we approach the journey with empathy, openness, and compassion, unraveling layers of thought patterns, emotions, behaviors, or perceptions that might be keeping you stuck. And then we figure out together how to get you unstuck and moving towards sustainable transformation by drawing upon a range of proven tools, strategies, tactics, and exercises.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below are some of the most common questions I get asked by potential coaching clients. If there is anything additional you would like me to answer, email me at aly@empowerhouseprogram.com

1. What is integrative coaching and how is it different from other coaching approaches?

Integrative coaching is a holistic framework that looks at an individual’s growth across multiple dimensions—often referred to as the four body systems: the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Rather than focusing solely on a single goal or challenge, integrative coaching recognizes that these four areas intersect and influence one another. As a result, this approach digs deeper into underlying patterns, helping clients address root causes rather than just surface-level issues. By nurturing each “body” (or system) and exploring how they impact one another, integrative coaching sets the stage for sustainable, long-term growth—be it personal or professional. By contrast, models like GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) are typically more linear and performance-oriented. GROW offers a clear, step-by-step method to clarify a goal, assess the current reality, generate options, and commit to an action plan (the “will”). While GROW excels at providing structure and accountability for specific objectives, integrative coaching broadens the scope to include deeper personal development—incorporating physical health, mindset, emotional awareness, and spiritual or purpose-driven elements. This broader lens fosters more lasting change because it addresses the full spectrum of an individual’s life, creating solutions that are not only effective but also sustainable over time.

2. How is coaching different from therapy or counseling?

Coaching and therapy can both help you grow, but they work in different ways. Coaching is mostly about looking ahead and setting goals. You figure out what you want, plan out the steps, and keep yourself accountable along the way. Therapy, on the other hand, dives deeper into your past, emotional trauma, and mental health. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat psychological conditions, helping people heal from deeper emotional patterns. While therapy often involves digging into what caused an issue, coaching puts more emphasis on strategies, performance, and keeping things moving forward. Of course, they can work hand in hand: some people benefit from therapy to deal with past or ongoing problems, while also partnering with a coach to tackle personal or professional goals. Integrative coaching takes the idea of coaching a step further by looking at behavior patterns, thought processes, and emotional blocks. It recognizes that current challenges often tie back to past experiences or beliefs. Still, integrative coaching doesn’t go as deep into psychological healing or mental health diagnoses as therapy does. Instead, it explores how the past might be influencing the present, so you can keep moving forward. The focus stays on taking action and creating meaningful, lasting change, using a holistic view that blends the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of your life.

3. How do I know if coaching is right for me?

You are here, which means that on some level, you already believe coaching could help with whatever you're facing or working toward. Coaching might be the right fit if you’re feeling stuck, navigating a transition, or seeking more clarity and direction in your personal or professional life. Whether you’re unsure where to start or you already know what you want but need support, structure, and accountability to follow through, coaching can be a game-changer in helping you move forward with confidence and purpose. One easy way to find out is by scheduling a free 30 minute discovery call to see if it is a good fit.

4. What can I expect during a coaching session and program?

Coaching sessions are a mix of deep conversations, thought-provoking questions, and actionable steps designed to help you gain clarity and move forward. Each session is tailored to your needs, starting with a check-in on where you are, reflecting on insights or challenges since our last session, and diving into the key topics you want to explore. As we work together, old patterns, emotional roadblocks, or limiting beliefs may surface—things that could be holding you back. When they do, we’ll tackle them head-on, developing practical strategies to help you break through and continue making progress. Sessions are 45 minutes long and provide a judgment-free space for reflection, new perspectives, and momentum toward your goals. The frequency—weekly, biweekly, or monthly—is something we decide together to ensure the process supports your growth in a way that feels right for you.

5. How long does the coaching process usually last?

Coaching can last anywhere from a few weeks to several months, and it really depends on your goals and how deep you want to go. At EMPOWERHOUSE, we generally find that a three- to six-month program works well for most people—it’s long enough to see meaningful progress and start building momentum. For teams, we recommend (and offer) a 6 month program to tackle multifaceted challenges related to goal setting, professional development, communications, roles and responsibilities, empathic leadership, etc. But if you or your team want extra support, you might decide to keep going for longer.

6. What kind of results can I expect?

At EMPOWERHOUSE, you’ll walk away feeling more focused, motivated, and ready to tackle real changes in your personal or professional life. You’ll pick up actionable strategies—like better time management, improved communication skills, or simply feeling more connected to yourself—that you can keep using long after the coaching program ends. One of the biggest breakthroughs our clients talk about is that “light bulb moment,” when you finally see what’s been holding you back—whether it’s self-doubt, burnout, or just feeling stuck—and realize there’s a clear path forward. Many people describe feeling lighter and more energized to take action, uncovering deeper insights about themselves and what truly drives them. They also mention breaking free from limiting patterns and gaining fresh perspectives on challenges that used to feel overwhelming. Keep in mind, coaching isn’t some magic fix—it’s a partnership. Your results really hinge on your willingness to show up, put in the work, and follow through on the steps you set for yourself. If you do, that’s when the most profound growth happens. Think of it as a roadmap that blends accountability, mindset shifts, and practical strategies, all designed to help you keep moving forward—even long after your time working with me at EMPOWERHOUSE has ended!

7. What is your confidentiality policy?

We take your privacy seriously at EMPOWERHOUSE. Everything you share—whether it’s personal, professional, or otherwise—is treated as strictly confidential and won’t be disclosed to anyone without your written consent, unless required by law or if withholding it could put you at risk. This extends to all the information you provide during coaching sessions or in related communications and continues indefinitely, even after your coaching relationship ends. Please note that information already public, known to the Coach beforehand, or developed independently isn’t covered under this policy. If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, don’t hesitate to ask.

8. Are you ICF certified as a coach?

I’m not ICF certified, but that doesn’t mean I’m any less capable as a coach. While the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is a well-known organization, there are many paths to becoming a skilled coach. My training and approach draw from various methodologies, including integrative coaching techniques that focus on the whole person—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I received my Master Coaching Certificate from the Integrative Wellness Academy and continue to sign up to continuing education opportunities to enhance my practice. Beyond formal coaching programs, I’ve spent years working with international partners and individuals on organizational resilience and change management, guiding teams and leaders through complex transitions and growth processes. This hands-on experience has allowed me to master many of the same core competencies that ICF emphasizes—such as active listening, powerful questioning, fostering awareness, and setting and achieving goals. I continuously invest in my professional development to ensure I’m delivering a top-tier coaching experience. Ultimately, what matters most is the connection that you and I develop as our own coaching team, as well as the quality of the guidance, support, and tools you receive from the experience that help you to move through and forward in a sustainable and resilient capacity.
